PD would love to hear from you

Some battles don’t start in public. They start as a quiet “yes” on the inside, and that one agreement can shape your choices, your relationships, and your faith when pressure turns up. We’re getting honest about endurance, spiritual warfare, and the slow, steady way God heals what’s been broken while writing something new in you.

We anchor the conversation in Scripture, starting with Matthew 24:13 and the call to endure to the end. When people push back on your convictions, when culture celebrates what God calls sin, and when even familiar voices try to normalize compromise, endurance becomes more than a word. It becomes a daily decision to keep your walk with God personal, stay rooted in the Word, and refuse to negotiate what you believe about Jesus.

Then we go to Luke 22:1–6 and the moment “Satan entered Judas,” asking the uncomfortable question: how did the door get opened? The warning is clear, but it’s also empowering. The enemy doesn’t need force if he can get permission through motives, greed, jealousy, isolation, and hidden deals. From there, we move into hope with 1 Samuel 16:7, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Hebrews 12:2, and Ephesians 2:1–8, naming what grace actually does: it makes you new, protects your new life, and keeps Jesus at the center as the author and finisher of your faith.

If this strengthened you, subscribe for more, share it with someone who’s fighting to stay faithful, and leave a review so more people can find Solid As They Come Podcast. What part of your life needs a new chapter right now?

Welcome And Core Prayer

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for joining me this week on Solid As They Come Podcast, where we journey into the presence of God, break strongholds, and discover and experience the love of Yahweh. Ephesians 3.19 in the New Living Translation says, may you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to fully understand. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. The goal is not to be perfect, but to trust in, to believe in the perfect love of Jesus, the realest love you will ever experience. Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on us. Let's put in some work. Let's put it in. I praise God for another opportunity for this online gathering. And I pray that something would be said to benefit you in your spiritual life and your day-to-day life. Remember last week? You have to stick around long enough for God to finish the work He started in you. After you have lived in the finished work of God for a while, it'll bring a thank you to your soul. Because I thank God for working on me. He specializes in taking the broken pieces of a person's life and healing them. God doesn't move fast when he works on you. Sometimes it's a watch this, a slow process. Because he wants to make sure he gets everything. He does it to make you holy in his sight. Watch this. So how somebody else sees you shouldn't matter. Especially when you know God is working on you. It's one thing that I know. I know I'm not who I was back then. Every day we should change to be what and who Yahweh wrote our new chapter of life to be after we've asked him to work on us. Is he working on anybody? If he's working on you, you got to stick around long enough to see the finished work. Y'all know what time it is? Let's go ahead and put some Bible on this. Matthew 24, 13 in the NLT says, but the one who endures to the end will be saved. Oh my God, Priest PD, did you hear what the word of God just said? But the one who endures, the one who remains faithful to God's way, the one who stands firm even in suffering. Talk about me. I ain't tripping. Leave me. I ain't tripping. Lie on me. I ain't tripping. Take some stuff from me. I ain't tripping. The one who holds on against the wicked pressure of this world. By putting Yahweh first, by standing on the word of God, by keeping your relationship with God personal. Other people may throw in the towel. They might give up on Yahweh. But you done made up in your mind that you're gonna stick around to see the finished work that God has begun in you. Matthew 24, 13. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 24, 13. This is Jesus speaking. He was speaking about some future events that was going to happen. And verse 13 was a warning. And I believe that he said it because people of God, listen to me. He wanted his disciples to build up something in the inside because he knew something was coming for him that was going to try to get in the inside. How many know that the enemy, the devil, can only do damage if he gets on the inside? Y'all, let's put some Bible on this. I want to get real serious here for a minute because there's a spirit at work right now that's coming against the church, coming against the people of God. Wherever the real spirit of God is, it's coming. And it's coming to separate. Is it just me or has anybody else been noticing that people are coming against you for standing on God business? The more you talk about Jesus, the more they talk about the world, the more you promote the kingdom of God, the more they promote the wickedness of this society. And what makes this so difficult is that this spirit is using people that's supposed to read the word of God with you, that's supposed to pray with you, that's supposed to be in the spiritual trenches with you, the same people that's supposed to be on a spiritual journey with you to get closer to God. But just like the word of God says, to those who endure to the end, you will be saved. God sent me by with a word this morning. Be careful of the spirit that wants you, watch this, to agree with sin. Oh my God, priest P. D. Be careful of the spirit that wants you to agree with this world. Be careful of the spirit of the person that wants you to agree with this world, with sin, with everything going on in this society, but never wants to uplift Jesus. If you notice that somebody that's supposed to be saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost is never talking about Jesus, never talking about the kingdom of God, never talking about God's word. Be careful. They might be operating in that spirit. That spirit that wants to talk about everything but God. Everything but Jesus is loose on the earth. Y'all know what time it is? It's time to put some Bible on this. Turn with me to uh Luke chapter 22. We're gonna read verses 1 through 6 in the NIV. And it reads like this Now the festival of unleavened bread called the Passover was approaching, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. Then watch this verse 3. Then Satan entered Judas. Remember, we were talking about that. Question: How did Satan get in? Well, let's keep going. Verse 3. Then Satan entered Judas called Iscariot, one of the twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. He operating in that spiritual verse 5. Watch this. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. Don't miss this. Watch this. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. If they agreed to give him money, then the suggestion must have come from him. Preach PD. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. He operated in that spirit. He consented and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them. When watch this, no crowd was present. That spirit likes to work in the dark. That spirit likes to work in isolation. That spirit will try to get you when you're all alone. Be careful of the spirit that wants you to agree with sin. Wants you to agree with hatred. Wants you to agree with jealousy. Wants you to agree with everything of this world, but doesn't want you to agree with God's way. Spin the block back with me to Luke chapter 22. Go to verse 3. And in the word of God, it said, Then Satan entered Judas. Every spiritual antenna right now that heard that should be up. Because I have to know how Satan got in Judas. Because I don't want him in me from studying our enemy. This is what I believe. First of all, I know our enemy hates us. 1 Peter 5 and 8 tells us that he's like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Then Revelation 12.10 tells us that he's a spiritual snitch. Mark 4.15 tells us that he loves to steal the word of God from us by worldly distractions so we won't grow spiritually. Then John 8.44 tells us that he is a spiritual serial killer. Watch this, with no truth in him. But after close study of him, he doesn't come by force. Watch this. He enters through provided permission. Oh my God, teach PD. He gains access to your life through your own choices and actions. If you don't want him to enter, don't act like it. Somewhere along the line of walking with Jesus. Y'all know we got to put some Bible on this. Turn to Matthew chapter 26, verses 14 and 15 in the NLT. And in the word of God, it says this. Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priest and asked, How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you? Oh my God. Did you hear what the Word of God just said? He asked, How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you? And they gave him 30 pieces of silver. Because Judas got caught up in his feelings. He got caught up in jealousy and greed. He gave up a one-way, all expense paid, trip to heaven for 30 pieces of silver. I don't know who this particular part of the sermon is for, but God sent me by this morning to warn you watch out. Be careful of the company that you keep. Be careful of the spirit that wants you to agree with sin. The spirit that will work through people in your life that want you to focus on everything but getting closer to God. Everything but you getting your healing. Everything, but you walking in your God-given purpose, everything, but you becoming that new version of you that Jesus see. How many know that God doesn't see it like we see it? Let's put some Bible on this. Turn to 1 Samuel chapter 16, verse 7, in the NLT. And in the word of God says this, but the Lord said to Samuel, Don't judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn't see the way you see them. People judge by the outer appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. Oh my God, did you hear what the word of God just said? The Lord looks at the heart. He don't see it like people see it. People can see the old you. People can see the you that used to smoke crack. People can see the you that used to shoot up. People can see to you that used to be caught up in domestic violence. People can see to you that used to sell drugs. But when God looks at you, He sees your heart. He sees you want to change. He sees you calling on him. Let me teach for a minute how does God see our heart? God sees our heart by the motive that we have behind what we're doing. It's our motives that show God our heart. It's the hidden attributes in it, like faith, trust, and love. God can see that in your heart. God can see a heart that's ready for change. He can see a heart that's coming to him in sincerity. Watch this. Victory comes. Change comes when you know when it's time to make adjustments. Preach PD. Change comes when you know it's time to make adjustments. And God knows a heart that's ready to make those adjustments. Y'all know what time it is? Let's just go ahead and put that Bible on this. 2 Corinthians 5 17 in the New King James Version. Y'all remember last week? Behold, it's time to behold. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. God knows a heart that's ready to behold. God knows a heart that's ready to pass away all the old things. God knows a heart that's ready to become new. All things have become new. Watch this. During my study of this message, I heard something in my spirit. And this is what I heard. Everybody has a version of you. They committed to their memory, and they are comfortable with that version. Change makes people uncomfortable because if you can change, it will force those around you to maybe one day ask themselves, why haven't they changed? Who is it that needs to close the chapter of life that keeps them in a cycle of regret? Keeps them in a cycle of self-hatred. I came by to intercede this morning for the people who are ready to close the chapter on old things and let Jesus be the author and the finisher of their faith. Let Jesus be the author of a new chapter in their life. When Jesus is the author and the publisher, the story isn't ever over, it's always to be continued when Jesus is the author. Man, let's put some Bible on this. Hebrews 12, 2 in the New King James Version. And in the Word of God, it says this: looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. Oh my God, did you hear what the Word of God just said? Looking unto Jesus, author and finisher of our faith. Or author and finisher of our new chapter in life. Oh my God, preach PD. In this case, Jesus is the copyright holder to your new story, to your new chapter. In legal terms, the author is the person who creates the work and hold the initial copyright. Copyrights. Copyrights protect original work of the author. So that means if Jesus is the author of your new story and has the copyrights of your new story, that means your new life is worth protecting. Let me tell you what's so good about Jesus being the author and the finisher of our faith. Not only will he write you a new story, not only will he give you new chapters of life, but he'll also help you live them out. When Jesus is the author and the finisher of your faith, no weapon formed against you will prosper. When Jesus is the author and the finisher of your faith, all things are gonna work together for your good. When Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith, you can be like King David in Psalms 23 and 4. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. For you are close beside me, your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. And what a blessing that is, and what a blessing it is when the author and finisher of our faith starts to write the new chapter of our life. Let me tell you something. You can tell the difference in your life. You start to shift your values, your life starts to align with the godly principles rather than just improving your actions. You feel a deep internal change that transforms. Watch this, your character. Some things that you used to do, you're not gonna want to do them anymore. Some ways that you used to have, you will see them slowly fading away. Y'all know what time it is? It's time to put some Bible on this before we get out of here. Turn to Ephesians chapter 2, and let's part on verses 1 through 8. And in the word of God, it says this once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. Come on, somebody, say that was the old life, that was my old story. Verse 2 says, You used to live in sin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was the story that I was writing, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil, the commander of the powers of the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. Somebody say, That used to be me. Verse 3. All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature, we are subject to God's anger, just like everyone else. Verse 4, but God, oh my God, did you hear what the word of God just said? But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Jesus from the dead. It is only by God's grace that you have been saved. Come on, somebody. Did you hear what the word of God just said? It is only by God's grace that you have been saved. Not because of good works, not because you're better than somebody else, but it's by God's grace. God's grace is undeserved favor, but he gives it to you anyway. God's grace is undeserved mercy, but he gives it to you anyway. God's grace is an undeserved second chance, but he gives it to you anyway. God's grace is the reality of how much God loves you, for he raised us from the dead when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God's grace that we are saved. For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms. Oh my God, they're gonna let heaven talk again, because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. Did you hear what the word of God just said? All of us who are united with Christ Jesus, we give Jesus the authority to be the author and the finisher of our new chapters in life. We give Jesus the authority to lead us and guide us. We give Jesus the authority to be the Lord in our life. Come on, somebody. Did you see where it says but God? Somebody say this is where it gets good at. Anytime the Bible says but God, that's where it gets good at. But God, when God butts in, it's about to be some change for the better. Say that again, PD. Whenever God butts into your life, it's about to be some change for the better. Praise God for the author and finisher of our faith. As I'm about to make my exit, I want to do a quick recap. Remember, some battles don't start in public. They start as a quiet agreement on the inside. Don't forget that spirit. Remember that spirit? Be careful of the spirit working through a person that wants you to agree with sin. Wants you to agree with this world. Wants you to agree with everything but the things of God. Then we dug into what it means to endure when our faith gets tested. When people push back on our convictions, when they push back on what we believe. The word of God tells us to endure. Because the ones who endure to the end will be saved. Stand on what you believe with that kind of endurance that stays faithful. When life applies pressure, and when culture tries to pull you into compromise, that's when you gotta stand strong and tell whoever talking that compromise talk that you don't negotiate with terrorists and what you believe about Jesus is what it is. Then we went to Luke chapter 22, where we talked about when Satan entered Judas. Oh my Lord, and we talked about how that spirit looks for a person that's isolated, and then they gain entry through your choices and your motives. Then we just ended it with when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He becomes the author and finisher of your faith. He becomes the author and finisher of your new life. He writes new chapters of life for you that will have you live and watch this: an abundant life, a strengthened life, a life that overcomes some things that you couldn't do before. Praise God. I hope this word was a blessing to you. Hey y'all, check this out. You know where it says on there? PD would love to hear from you. I really would. It's a new feature on this platform. And if you click that, you can either send a text message, watch this, or you can send a voicemail. I would like to know what's on the heart of the people that listen. So if you got time, shoot your boy a voicemail. But until next week, friends and family, remember, keep it solid.

No weapon form. No weapon fall. I've been tested, I've been told. I've been tested, I've been torn, but my soul still reborn. They try to count me out, but I was made for the fire. Heard a thunder in my storm, but I feel so light. I said not tonight. Yeah, get me out. I'ma stand upright. I've been down to the sea, fearing my reflection. But they took control now. I'm covered in love. They do stone out of solder. I'm watching my shoulder. I know I'm a drunk. I can't be the feeder. I can't be the feed. When the world says stop. I can't be the feeder. My face being casting. But never be free. He's the power to make perfect in the heart of the week. So I need to raise my hand to the sky for walking with it.
