PD would love to hear from you

Prayer can feel impossible when life is loud, your thoughts are spiraling, and the pressure won’t let up. We start with a simple but confronting confession, “I never want to pray,” then push straight into what breaks that resistance: the perfect love of Jesus and the decision to trust Him more than we trust the moment. Using Ephesians 3:19 as a foundation, we talk about spiritual warfare, cultural pressure, and why God’s love is the realest love you will ever experience, even when everything around you feels unstable.

From there, we get intensely practical about Christian living in hard times. We challenge ourselves to build a consistent prayer and Bible reading rhythm at home, treating it as a requirement, not an option. We name the way circumstances try to command our emotions with anxiety, depression, shame, and fear, and we choose faith instead. If the world feels like it’s on fire, we can see the smoke without breathing it in. Scriptures like Galatians 6:9 and James 1:2–4 bring the focus to endurance, reminding us not to quit and to let growth happen while our faith is being tested.

Then we hit the hard truth: sometimes the breakthrough is on the other side of divine order. We talk about giving up on everything but God, seeking the Kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), capturing rebellious thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:5), and trimming the roster when relationships pull us away from purpose. We close with a strong call to unity and one accord, because difficult times are here and more are on the way, and isolation can take people out. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs endurance, and leave a review telling us what you’re standing on this week.

Thank you for joining me this week on Solid As They Come Podcast, where we journey into the presence of God, break strongholds, and discover and experience the love of Yahweh. Ephesians 3.19 in the New Living Translation says, May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to fully understand. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. The goal is not to be perfect, but to trust in, to believe in the perfect love of Jesus, the realest love you will ever experience. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us. Let's put in some work. Spreading so much gospel that the devil don't like me. And I pray that you join in with me, spreading so much gospel that the devil don't like you. And I don't like him neither. All praises to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank God for the word that he has put into my spirit on this morning to preach. That ain't the title this morning. That's just in my spirit, spreading so much gospel that the devil don't like me all in the dark, in my dreams, trying to fight me, trying to stop me, trying to hold me, trying to fold me, trying to mold me into something that God hasn't called me to be, spreading so much gospel that the devil don't like me. Oh, that's in my spirit. I'm feeling that thing. Because I'm not adjusting to what's going on in this world, this wicked system, this sinful nature, human affairs without Jehovah God in it. I'm standing on the word of God and leaning on his love. I'm standing on God's way. I'm standing on the way that leads to the path of righteousness. People of God, we can't accept what's going on in the world today and not turn it up a notch. Can I recommend that everybody who knows God loves them and they love God turn the volume up on their relationship with Jesus? I want to recommend that we start in our individual households, start getting everybody together that lives in that house and set a time apart for prayer and reading the scriptures and put a bold statement in the atmosphere that this is a requirement and not an option. While the world operates off demon time, we should be operating off heaven's time, and we can't get so caught up in the world that we are looking at life through circumstances. Because circumstances will tell you it's time to be depressed, circumstances will tell you it's time to have anxiety, circumstances will tell you you can't get better, circumstances will tell you you're not good enough, circumstances will tell you you made the biggest mistake of your life, circumstance, something that happens or takes place. People without God live in circumstances, but the people of God we live by faith, no matter what it looks like. Y'all remember last week? Experiencing the power of the love of God when God steps into your circumstance, no matter what it looks like, all things are gonna work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. God put this on my heart for somebody. The issues of life are beating up on your trust in God, the issues of life are beating up on your faith in God and the circumstances of life got you feeling like God is not even a part of your life right now. I don't like telling people to hold on, I like telling people to put your trust in God's word. And in Galatians 6 9 in the NLT, it says this so let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up. And I don't know who this particular part is for, but God sent me by this morning to tell you don't give up. The world is on fire, and those of us who live by faith in God can see the smoke. But we can't get smoke inhalation. We have to continue to trust God, no matter what it looks like. Our world is on fire, and there's wicked and sinful smoke blowing everywhere, but we don't have to breathe it in. Let us open our hearts to face a hard truth. Some of us are victims to the circumstances around us, but those who live by faith, we know that our faith in God is the final word in our life. From spiritual pushback to cultural pressure, we can trace our life anchored in scripture, we can trace our life anchored in obedience to God's word. We can see a person who refuses to bow down to fear, we can see a person who refuses to bow down to peer pressure, we can see a person who refuses to bow down to comfort, we can see a person who refuses to bow down to anxiety or the latest crisis. Instead, we see endurance that lasts when a person is anchored by the love of God, they are equipped to endure the disasters of this life. James chapter 1, verses 2 through 4 in the NLT says this dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow. But watch this. Don't get weary. Why? Because you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. It could be what it looks like because God is teaching you to use what he gave you. Oh my god, preach PD. God could be teaching you to use what he gave you. Stop crying. Get up, pray more, read more, study more, stand on his word more. Let me drop something heavy in your spirit. Out of these 23 years of walking with God, I've learned something. It was hard, but I learned it. I learned how to give up on everything but God. Oh, preach PD, did you hear what I just said? I've learned how to give up on everything but God. Watch this. Your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow. For when your endurance is fully developed, that's how you know your endurance is fully developed. When you can let go, but keep God, keep the Lord the priority of your life. If you one of them people, it's time to grow up. You know, one of them people that every time something goes wrong, the first thing you do is give up on God. I ain't going to church. You stop reading your Bible, you stop praying, stop it. Grow up. Learn how to give up on everything but God and watch what He does in your life. You the one won't listen. So why you giving up on God? You the one who chose that dead beast. So when he show his true colors, why you give up on God? You the one decided to sin. Why you giving up on God? You the one keep making bad choices. Why are you giving up on God? Don't give up on God. Give up on the mess if you don't do it already. I pray that you start soon. And that's learn how to give up on the people, places, and things that lead you from God. And learn to keep God at the top of your life. Divine order dictates that Jehovah stay at the top of a child of God's life. I'm speaking the hard truth right now. I had to let go of some people. I had to let go of some places. I had to let go of some things that I enjoyed. But in order for me to fulfill the purpose that God put on my life, I had to let them go and put him first. Let's put some Bible on this. Matthew 633 in the NLT says this seek the kingdom of God above all else and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Seek the kingdom of God above all else. I don't know who I'm preaching to, but maybe God is saying it's time for you to choose. You've been torn in two directions. God sent me by this warning to tell you it's time to choose. Holy Spirit working through me right now. I had a whole nother message prepared, but I follow the Spirit. God is working on somebody's heart right now. He's calling you. Second Corinthians 10 5 in the NLT says this we destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And that's what this message is about today. We want to destroy every proud obstacle that's keeping you from knowing God. And that includes people, places, and things destroying the hold that they have on you, destroying the influence that they have on you, destroying the chain that they have wrapped around you, that whenever they pull, they pull you closer to them and farther from the love of God. This scripture is laying out a powerful thought for us. This is what it's saying. It's saying that we need to filter everything that we let in our spirit, mind, heart, and life. And if it's not God approved, it doesn't need to be there. And in order for the people, places, and things to be God approved for your life, they should be connected to your kingdom purpose. If you're a child of God, the people with close influence in your life should have something in common with you and with God. Preach PT. I think I'm about to spin the block on that one. If you're a child of God, the people with close influence in your life should have something in common with God and with you. Sometimes in life you got to trim your roster because everybody can't go where God is taking you. And when people find out they can't go, a lot of them don't want you to go either. Those are the people in your life for the wrong reason. God put this word in my spirit, and he sent me by this morning to tell somebody stand on what you believe. Romans chapter 16, verse 17 in the NLT says this. And now I make one more appeal. My brothers and sisters, watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people's faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Psalms 33 and 1 says this behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Next week we'll break down our main text, 2 Timothy chapter 3, verses 1 through 5. I believe 2 Timothy 3:1 is why God gave me this message today. And He's telling us to stand on what we believe and to surround ourselves with like-minded people with the same vision and the same God purpose that we have. Watch this. You should know this, Timothy. You should know this, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. God is calling us to unite in unity because very difficult times have started and they're more on the way. And I hear this in my spirit that these difficult times can only be defeated if the people of God come together in unity. Only unity will be able to defeat these difficult times. Acts chapter 2, verse 1 says this when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all, who were all the people of God, the people that believed in Jesus, the people that believed in God, they were all with one accord in one place. Let's use that symbolically, and let's all get on one accord and in one place, a place where we lift each other up and not tear each other down, a place where the love for each other is real, a place where we learn lessons and don't take losses, a place where we all agree that working together will get the job done and we all will be blessed. As we push past circumstances and choose faith that breathes heaven air and not the wicked smoke of this world. We call our homes and our minds and our churches to seek the kingdom first, guard unity, and endure with joy the trials that come our way. We want to turn up the volume on our prayer and scripture life in our homes. We want to live by faith rather than circumstances. We want endurance that grows through the trials and the testing. We talked about giving up on everything but God to keep divine order in our life, filtering thoughts and influences by God's purpose and not by people's purpose, trimming the roster to protect purpose and unity. Sometimes you gotta cut down the people that surround you because everybody ain't got your best interests at hand. And then we talked about standing firm against the division and false teaching that's out here in this world. And lastly, uniting on one accord to face difficult times together. That's a place where we need to get to because when the difficult times hit, anybody that's isolated might not make it. Yo, I'll be back next week and we'll break it down a little bit more. But until then, remember, we're gonna win together. Until next week, friends and family, keep it solid.

Pain told me everybody smiling, ain't for me. Everybody clappin' ain't trying to see me win. Pain told me some does gotta close in my face. So that ain't smallin' me.
