PD would love to hear from you
Grace can feel like a warm blanket, but what if you’ve been using it like a hiding place? We go straight at a hard question a lot of people avoid: can you claim God’s mercy while refusing real surrender to Jesus Christ. Along the way, we talk about protecting your purpose by trimming your roster because not every person, place, or platform deserves access to your life, especially when your peace and your relationship with God are on the line.
We dig into Romans 1:28 and the warning about a depraved mind, how a dirty heart infects your thinking, and why spiritual decline can make wrong feel normal. Then we tackle a phrase that gets thrown around like a get-out-of-jail card: “God knows my heart.” Using Matthew 9:4, we ask what God actually finds when he looks inside, and why fruit and proof matter if we say we belong to him.
From there, we connect the chaos we see in the culture to 2 Timothy 3:1–5 and the “last days” list, and we remind you that fear is not your assignment. God gives power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), and that sound mind helps you stand for what you believe. We close with a simple but life-changing takeaway: the Bible is a reliable source, but information only becomes transformation when you trust the Source, let Christ make his home in your heart (Ephesians 3:17), and live from roots deep in God’s love. If this challenged you, share it with a friend, subscribe, and leave a review so more people can find it.
Welcome And Opening Prayer
SPEAKER_00Thank you for joining me this week on Solid As They Come Podcast, where we journey into the presence of God, break strongholds, and discover and experience the love of Yahweh. Ephesians 3.19 in the New Living Translation says, may you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to fully understand. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. The goal is not to be perfect, but to trust in, to believe in, the perfect love of Jesus, the realest love you will ever experience. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us. Let's put in some work. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us. Lord, open our hearts that we might be able to receive your word to retain what is preached in this time that we have together.
Trim Your Roster Protect Purpose
SPEAKER_00Trim your roster, God your purpose, unite for hard times. Trim your roster, God your purpose, unite for hard times with people that are going where you're going. Ultimately, I pray that that is to heaven. But until then, we who love him should be going into his presence to be filled with God's purpose. Not every person, place, or platform deserves access to your life. Not every person, place, or platform deserves access to your life. The one life that God gave you to live on this earth should be precious to you. You can't be scared to speak up in this atmosphere of wickedness. One life to live on this earth, God gave it to you. Is it precious to you or not? Is it worth living or not? You can't be scared to speak up for your life. I'm not living one day of my life like somebody else wants me to live. I found my purpose, I'm connected to my purpose. I pray you find your purpose, and I pray you get connected to your purpose. You can't be scared to speak up in this atmosphere of wickedness. I don't know who this word for already. I ain't really even got started yet, but I hear it in my spirit. You need to put your foot down and live your life. I know I ain't scared. I didn't come to make you feel good. When God called me to preach, he knew who he was calling. I'm here to connect
Salvation Over Temporary Grace
SPEAKER_00you with the Spirit of God. I'm here to let you know that Jesus Christ died for your sins. I'm here to let you know that if you believe that God raised you from the dead, according to Romans chapter 10, verse 9, that if you believe that, that you will be saved. The Bible says that anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced. I ain't scared to put it all on the line and say, I believe every word of it. I ain't scared to put it all on the line and say, I know he saves. I know he delivers. I know he changes from the inside out. I know the Spirit of God is real. I'm not trying to convince you, I'm trying to get you to experience what I'm experiencing, what millions of people across the globe are experiencing. And that's a perfect love in an imperfect world. And I ain't scared to tell you, it's a lot of people out there living off God's grace, but it's temporary. It's a lot of people out there living off the mercy of God, but it's temporary. One day, the grace and mercy of God is gonna run out in somebody's life who refuses to make Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior, who refuses to trust in God and surrender, who refuses to give God their life. One day, God's grace and mercy is gonna run out on your life. God's grace is temporary for an unbeliever. God's mercy is temporary for an unbeliever. But accepting what Jesus did is eternal. Preach PD. Even God moves on when there is no progress being made. God is not showing you grace to keep living in wickedness. God is not showing you mercy to keep on destroying your life, to keep tearing down your body, to keep tearing down your family, to keep tearing down your
Romans 1:28 And Depraved Minds
SPEAKER_00community. Let me put some Bible on that. I'm about to show you one of the roughest scriptures in the Bible to read. Turn to Romans chapter 1, verse 28 in the amplified Bible. And in the word of God, it says this, and since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or consider him worth knowing as their creator, God gave them over to a depraved mind to do things which were improper and repulsive. Did you hear what the word of God just said? Even God moves on when there is no progress, and since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or consider Him worth knowing as their creator, there was no progress in them acknowledging God or accepting what Jesus Christ did on the cross and in the grave for them. So God handed them over to a depraved mind to do things which are improper and repulsive. God handed them over to what was in their heart, and what was in their heart was improper and repulsive. And remember this a dirty heart will always infect your mind. That's why the Bible says that God gave them over to a depraved mind. A depraved mind produces a corrupt and morally degraded state of thinking. That's when you're unable to distinguish what's right or wrong. That's when you constantly choose evil. That's when you constantly choose things that go against the will of God. That's when you become blinded to goodness and loyal to wickedness, a depraved mind, results in a moral and spiritual decay of a person's life. You become addicted to the people, places, and things in life that hurt you. You give up on what's good and you embrace what's wrong in the name of Jesus. I pray that you don't let it get that bad in your life. I pray that opportunity presents itself for you to give your life to Jesus. Romans 128 tells us that God's grace and mercy will run out on the person that refuses to know God as their creator. A depraved mind will make you think that you're in a relationship with God with no fruit to prove it, with no purpose to prove it, with no works to prove it, with no faith to prove it, a depraved mind will make you think that you're in a relationship with God with no proof. Preach PD, every child of God has some proof in their life. Man, I got a question. How can God be the source of your blessing if you're not connected to him? How can God be the source of your blessing if you're not connected to him? This is what a depraved mind will tell you. You don't have to pray, you don't have to read your Bible, you don't have to go to church, you don't have to pay tithes and offerings, you don't have to sow into the kingdom of God to be a Christian. But the devil is a liar. And watch this somebody spreading this around town. God knows my heart. Do you know how dangerous that is for a person with a depraved mind to say? For a person that's not connected to God to say, God knows my heart. Yeah, God knows your heart, and he knows you're not thinking about him. He knows your heart is not with him. If you have no proof, God doesn't need to know your heart if you know him and he knows you, if you're saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. God sees your fruit. Be careful, wanting God to look into your
The Danger Of God Knows My Heart
SPEAKER_00heart. Turn to Matthew 9:4 in the NLT. Watch what it says. Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them, Why do you have such evil thoughts in your heart? You have to be careful with saying, God knows my heart. When you know your heart is not with God, when God looks into your heart, what will he find? When he looked into the Pharisee's heart, it made him ask the question. And he asked him, Why do you have such evil thoughts in your heart? When he looked into your heart, what is he gonna say to you? Why don't you read my word? Why don't you go to church? Why don't you invest into my kingdom? Why don't you spread the message about me instead of spreading the message about everything that's on TikTok, everything that's on Facebook? Why don't you lift me up instead of lifting other people up? How come every time you pray to me, you in trouble and you want me to bless you, but I don't hear from you any other time? When God looks into your heart, what will he find? A heart connected to a depraved mind or a heart connected to Jesus Christ? Ephesians 3:17 NLT. A heart connected to Jesus Christ. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. Man, that's deep. It's a powerful teaching in Ephesians 3 17. And one day I'm gonna circle back on it. Let's recap real quick. We're talking about living in the last days and how wicked it's gonna be. And I believe that we're living in the last days right now because that level of wickedness is going on right now, and we can't be scared to speak up, stand up, and live on the word of God if we say we Christians, and then we talked about how some people are living under God's grace and mercy, and God's grace and mercy is temporary, it's an act of love. It doesn't replace the fact that you need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And that took us to Romans 1.28 in the Amplified Bible, where we see that if you refuse to do it God's way, then God will get out the way and let that person live their life, a life that will ultimately be useless and a waste of time on your leisure time. Read Romans 1.28 and then keep on reading the verse 30, and you'll see attributes of a depraved mind. As we continue, I want to repeat something that I said at the beginning of this exhortation. You can't be scared to speak up in this atmosphere of wickedness. My peace is important, so I'm gonna let you know when you're bothering that. My relationship with God is important, so I'm gonna let you know when you're bothering that. My love is important, so I'm gonna let you know when you're taking advantage of that. This second chance in life that God blessed me with is important to me. So I'm gonna let you know when you're interfering
Speak Up With Power Love Sound Mind
SPEAKER_00with that. 2 Timothy 1:7 in the New King James Version says, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. God doesn't give us the spirit of fear. Somebody, you better start speaking up for yourself. You better start living the life that God has given you. God has given you power, He has given you love, and He has given you a sound mind. And that sound mind should be enough for you to know what you believe. That should be enough to know who God is, that should be enough for you to know what you stand for. Praise God for the people that's not afraid to speak up for the faith. If you've been rolling with me for a while, you know I don't use sugar in my preaching. This right here is a wake-up call for anyone that's coasting on the grace and mercy of God without surrender. You done got relaxed and you think that God is blessing you when you really living off grace and mercy. And God gave me this word, so I got to preach it. And I don't know who this particular part is for, but God sent me by this morning to tell you that your supply of grace and mercy is about to run out, and you need to make up your mind if you're gonna keep living temporary or are you gonna give your life to Jesus and start living eternal. Amen.
Last Days Warning And Who To Avoid
SPEAKER_00If you got your Bibles this morning, let's go to 2 Timothy chapter 3, verses 1 through 5 in the NLT. All right, and in the word of God it says, You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred, they will be unloving and unforgiving. They will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless and puffed up with pride, and lovers of pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that. I don't know if Timothy experienced what Paul calls the last days in his lifetime, but I know one thing for sure that we are experiencing the last days right now, we are experiencing those very difficult times that Paul describes in the Bible because we see this spirit of wickedness overtaking people every day in our society, and I want to submit this thought to you. Let's go back to Romans 1:28, because this list of things that Paul says that people will do seems to me like people with depraved minds, people who have no spiritual conscience of the love of God, just an appetite for evil. Y'all is going down in the text. I know y'all see it. It's a whole lot of demonic activity being displayed. Watch this. The first four words of the text, plus one, is a precautionary warning that's about to describe a situation, a fact that someone needs to be aware of to avoid some problems. And that
Reliable Source Belief And Transformation
SPEAKER_00precautionary warning starts off like this Paul said, You should know this. Preacher PD, did you hear what Paul said? Paul said, You should know this. Man, I can preach a whole sermon on this. Go back to the text and take Timothy's name out and put your name in there, and then say, You should know this. Can I drop something in your spirit that I think you should know? I think you should know Romans 5 and 8 that God loved us even when we didn't love Him. I think you should know 2 Timothy 2 19 that you can't fool God. He knows his children. Listen to me, somebody better really get on board before you miss the heavenly train. I think you should know Ephesians 2, 8 and 9, that good works won't get you close to God. Salvation is a gift from God. We are saved by grace through our faith. Matthew 11, 28. Check this out. Jesus will accept you like you are and clean you up from the inside out. First John 1 and 9. That's if you confess your sins, that God is faithful and He will forgive your sins. I think you should know, Matthew 6:33, if you seek God first and put him first, he will add good things to your life. I think you should know, Hebrews 11:6, that it's impossible to please God without faith. I think you should know, 1 Peter 5 and 8, that the devil is looking for a child of God, like a roaring lion, to devour your faith. He wants to devour the trust you have in God, he wants to devour the love you have for Jesus. He wants to devour any word that you get in your spirit from God. He wants to devour your relationship with God. I think you should know that. Paul told Timothy. I got something important that I think you should know. Y'all, don't let that go over your head. This ain't nothing small. This is the love of God in motion. God gave it to Paul and Paul gave it to Timothy. He gave him a heads up so he wouldn't be blindsided by some things that was about to go down. This heads up is the love of God in motion. But watch this. The love and the warning is no good if you don't believe it. You should know this can imply that the information that's about to be said is crucial for the listener to have and to understand. The apostle Paul and God wants us to understand how important this information is. And I pray that prayer today, that everything that God gave me to preach to you today, that you listened and it was clear enough for you to have understanding of it. Watch this. There's power to produce a different outcome if you believe the information that's given to you. Oh my God, preach PD, there's power to produce a different outcome if you believe the information that's given to you. Watch this from a reliable source. Lord, make me a reliable source. Remember a couple weeks ago we talked a little bit about unbelief. The right information from the right source, watch this, can give you peace. The right information from a reliable source can give you deliverance, it could give you a fresh start. I got one true source that I get my information from, and this reliable source hasn't ever gave me bad information, and all the information that it gives is true. That information comes from the B-I-B-L-E by the way of the Spirit of God. The info coming from the Bible, and the Spirit of God is powered by the whole truth, but it only has power in your life if you believe it. You can listen to me, you can listen to other preachers all day long. But if you don't believe that we are a reliable source, then there's no transfer of power to your spirit. Isaiah chapter 40, verse 31 in the NLT says this but those who trust in the Lord will find new strength, they will soar high on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. I just gave you information straight from the Bible. I just gave you God information, but it will do you no good if you don't believe it. Now go back to the text, Isaiah 40, 31. Check how it starts off. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. It won't work for you if you don't trust in the Lord. It won't work for you if you don't believe it's the word of God. Information received from a reliable source. The word of God received from a reliable source has the power to produce a different outcome in your life. I've been walking with the Lord a while now, and I've been weary, and I And got weak and along this journey, I didn't felt like giving up sometimes, but I went to the word of God, I put my trust in the word of God, and I got what the word said I could have. I'm one of the people that found new strength by putting my trust in God, Isaiah 40:31. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength, they will soar high on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and faint not. This is information from a reliable source, and it works. John 8 47 in the NLT says this anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God, but you don't listen because you don't belong to God. Through this whole sermon, I've been preaching warnings. Through this whole sermon, I've been preaching, making sure that you're connected to the real source, making sure that you're connected, making sure that your relationship is genuine. But did you hear what the word of God said? It said, anyone who belongs to God, listen gladly to the words of God. Come on, somebody. Anybody who belongs to God knows that the Bible is a reliable source. We're here going on Romans 128, people again. Watch this. But you don't listen because you don't belong to God. Paul started off his letter to Timothy with you should know this. I'm ending this message today with you should know this. Crucial information. Make sure you're connected to the real source. Because real connection to Jesus turns information into transformation. Preach PD, did you hear what the Spirit just gave me? Real connection to Jesus turns information into transformation. Information from the source of transformation will transform you. You should know this that you can't continue to live off grace and mercy. That God's grace and mercy is an act of love to give a person time to get it right, to give a person time to understand how much God loves you. And you should know this. Beware of false information from an unreliable source to base your relationship on God with. Watch this, Ephesians 3:16 says this. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources, he will empower you with inner strength through his spirit. And then watch this when your heart knows God, verse 17 says, Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. It's not about God knowing your heart without Jesus in it, it's about your heart knowing God.
Roots In God’s Love And Closing
SPEAKER_00Now that's some real information from a reliable source. Hey, God bless you. I pray the word of God has been a blessing to you this morning. I pray it was an eye-opener. I pray it put something on your spirit to think about, and I pray that God used me to bring you some valuable information. Until next week, family and friends, we're gonna win together. And remember, keep it solid.
SPEAKER_02Falling in love with Jesus, falling in love with Jesus, falling in love with Jesus. It's the best thing I've ever done. It is on feel protected, it is on never feel connected, it's on I feel protected, don't place out a rather with she.
