PD would love to hear from you
If you’ve ever wanted to trust God but still felt unsafe inside, this message is for you. We’re not chasing perfection here, we’re learning how to rest our whole lives in the perfect love of Jesus. We open with Ephesians 3:19 and a prayerful push to experience God’s love as something real, present, and strong enough to break spiritual strongholds like doubt, fear, and anxiety.
Then we tie safety to something practical: testimony. We circle back to Revelation 12:11 and unpack why “the word of our testimony” isn’t just a story, it’s evidence that God makes a way. When life feels unsafe, it can paralyze you and make you afraid to speak, move, or even hope. But scripture paints a different picture: Psalm 31:20 describes shelter in God’s presence, Matthew 11:28 offers rest for the weary, and Proverbs 18:10 calls the name of the Lord a strong fortress where we can run and be safe.
From there, we get painfully honest about procrastination and purpose. “Don’t let the fear of it not working stop you” turns into a gut-check: what if tomorrow never comes and the action never happens? We apply 2 Timothy 1:7 and Romans 8:28 to everyday decisions, from stepping into your calling to finally surrendering your heart to Christ. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment, let this be your nudge to move today. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review telling us what step you’re taking next.
Welcome And The Goal Of Trust
SPEAKER_00Thank you for joining me this week on Solid As They Come Podcast, where we journey into the presence of God, break strongholds, and discover and experience the love of Yahweh. Ephesians 3.19 in the New Living Translation says, May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to fully understand. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. The goal is not to be perfect, but to trust in, to believe in the perfect love of Jesus, the realest love you will ever experience. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us. Let's put in some work. Remember, when it's real talk, that means nothing is off limits. When it's real purpose, get ready for real change. And when it's real people involved, there's nothing that we can't accomplish. Add the right ingredients until it's right. The spirit of the living God is upon me. Don't miss this. Someone you need to know that God's word is safe. You need to know that putting your trust in God is safe. You need to know that when you give your life to Christ is safe. In the name of Jesus, I come against all doubt. In the name of Jesus, I come against every counterfeit spirit that's holding you back. In the name of Jesus, I come against all fear that has been loosed by the devil. We come against all demonic influence that has the scheme of the devil attached to it. And we lose the spirit of freedom. We lose the spirit of confidence. We lose the spirit of safety. The trust in the love of God. They will sword the window like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. I pray that the Spirit of the living God will give you strength to trust in God and understand that when you put your hands in his hands, when you put your life in his hands, when you give your heart to him, that being in a relationship with him is safe.
Testimony As Proof Of Safety
SPEAKER_00Remember a couple weeks ago, we talked about testimony. Let's circle the block and tie it back in. A lot of people miss this, but when the people of God are telling their testimony, you should hear safety in the testimony. Matter of fact, go back to Revelation 12:11, New King James Version. It says, and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony. And they overcame him. Overcame who? They overcame the devil. They overcame their depression. They overcame their anxiety. They overcame their fear. They overcame their doubt by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Why? Because in the testimony they found safety. Watch this. In an unsafe place, it'll do what to you? It'll paralyze you. It'll have you scared to move because you don't know what's behind the door. You don't know what's around the corner. You don't know what's down the street. You don't know what's in the darkness. And it brings on fear. But back to the topic, understanding that it's safe to put your trust in the Lord. The word of God says in Revelation 12, 11, and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. What was the word? The word was there was safety in the love of God. There was safety in the arms of the Lord. The word was Psalms 31 and 20. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence far from accusing tongues. The word was that the Lord is offense around those who trust in him. The word was Matthew 11, 28. Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. I know how it is. You can't get no rest in a place that's not safe. The word was Proverbs 18:10. The name of the Lord is a strong fortress. The godly run to him and are safe. Oh my God, did you hear what the word of God just said? The name of the Lord is a strong fortress. Call on his name. Oh my God, Jesus' name is a strong fortress when I call on the name of Jesus and I have the right connections. Every demon in hell trembles because they know he's coming. Every demon in hell try to get out of God's why because they know that he's gonna save me. Every demon in hell got to flee. Why? Because just the name of the Lord with the right connection opens up a safe passage for you to walk through. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Now that's a testimony where the people at that understand that it's safe to come to Jesus. There's safety in the love of God. God sent me by this morning to drop something heavy in your spirit. Watch this. If you don't feel safe enough to put a word in the atmosphere that you've been set free. If you don't feel safe enough to put a word in the atmosphere that you have been delivered, that means that there's still some fear that's gripping you. Because you know when the stronghold has been broken, you know when your heart has been healed. You know when you have overcome a thing. How you know, PD? Because you'll feel safe enough to stand up and declare a word. You feel safe enough to trust again, that you feel safe enough to love again, that you feel safe enough to dream again, that you feel safe enough to live again, that you feel safe enough to live in your God-given purpose, and no matter what comes against you this time, that what you need to do for God will get done.
Make A Move Past Fear
SPEAKER_00Came by this morning to tell somebody to make a move. You've been scared to make a move, you've been scared to trust in God, you've been scared to change your life. 2 Timothy 1 7 says this for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Don't let the fear of it not working stop you. Oh my god, PD, say it again. I'm gonna say it again, but I'm gonna add an eye-opener at the end of it this time. Watch this. Don't let the fear of it not working stop you. Because what if tomorrow never comes? Holy Spirit walk in heavy. Let me challenge your mind with this one. When I say, What if tomorrow never comes? Don't think about just the day after today. Let's grab the lesson out of the statement, which is the action that never got done because tomorrow never came. Oh my god, preach PD, I am preaching. You remember when you said you'll get your credit right tomorrow? You remember when you said you'll get your life right tomorrow? You remember when you said you'll give your life to Jesus tomorrow? You remember when you said you'll stop doing this and that tomorrow? But what if tomorrow never came? Not the day, but the action that was supposed to happen tomorrow. You woke up the next day and still didn't do it. The day came, but the action didn't. That means that the ministry never happened. That means that giving your life to Christ never happened. That means fulfilling your God-given purpose never happened. Come on, somebody, that means that the accomplishment never happened. That means that the possibility that you had never happened. That means that the idea that you had the day before never happened. Don't let the fear of it not working stop you. Come on, somebody. That business idea, that mentorship program, you dealing with the things in life that hold you back. That tomorrow never came. Don't let the fear of it not working stop you from doing it today, especially if it's for the kingdom of God.
Romans 8:28 And Doing It Today
SPEAKER_00At this cross world, your faith has to know that it's safe to trust in God's word. Come on, somebody. Romans 8 28, the safe place. And we know that God causes everything to work together. The safe place. Does your faith know that it's safe to trust in God's word? Do you know that it's safe to trust in God's word? Romans 8 28. And we know that God causes everything to work together. Do you believe it? Well, don't put it off for tomorrow for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. If you believe that, do it today. I came to encourage somebody to make the decision today. Don't miss the opportunity waiting for tomorrow.
Two Key Takeaways And Blessing
SPEAKER_00Man, I hope this word was a blessing to you. We had two thoughts, and the two thoughts were that God, his word, his spirit, his love, his grace, his mercy, his forgiveness is a safe place. It's safe to come to God. And then the next thought was don't let the fear of it not working stop you from getting your blessing. Don't let the fear of it not working stop you from receiving your forgiveness. Don't let the fear of it not working stop you from the opportunity of your life. Don't let the fear of it not working overcome you with doubt. Let's grade wrap it up with Psalms 31 and 20. And it says, You hide them who is them, those who know that it's safe to put their trust in the Lord. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence far from accusing tongues. May the love of God smile on you. Until next week, add the right ingredients until you get it right. And remember, keep it solid.
